Maybe you can hide some meds in a piece of cheese for him.

This is exactly what I do to get my dog to take meds. Roflmao!!!!!

The answer to "1984" is 1776

WW 2 could have been avoided by the bravery of one good man with a good rifle

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get me.

I've used the small crock pots with a bit of mentholatum in it also.

I have a little one made for scents - I'll put some Eucalyptus and Peppermint oil in it. :)

...I forgot what I was thinking.

Do you have a Vaporizer? We use that with either Vicks Vap-o-steam or the Kaz brand stuff added to it. I usually have a cool-mist humidifier going in the house in the winter time, but when one of us is sick or is stuffed up, we notice the difference using the Vaporizer.

We're having bad luck with humidifiers. They seem to grow things almost instantly in our house. Maybe since the vents have been cleaned, they won't do it as quickly now?

Too late, he's already addicted. :runcirclsmiley2:

He seems to be getting better some, but still refuses to take anything 'cept a bit of cough medicine at night.

I would like y'all to note that I started this thread exactly 2 weeks ago. His complaint about taking "my hippie remedies" is that last year, it "extended" the time he was sick to 2 weeks.

He's doing better, but still exhausted and hacking up a lung every once in a while at night.

Men are complex. There's 2 levels of sickness for them: 1) They "think" they're not sick and will argue with you about it and refuse to take anything or 2) they're incapable of doing anything at all and turn into a pitiful whiner on the couch who can barely move and need your help with everything. Interestingly, the whine level goes up as they recover.

Also once better, they deny acting in the #2 level of sickness.
Psalm 27:13

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.

Luckily, he never quite got to level 2....but he's denying that he might still be sick. Silly man.
