Just a thought...
I use a lap quilting frame--it is like a big embordiary hoop-- i have used it for over 25 years. You can get them at hobby lobby type stores for around $30.00. You have to start in the middle of the quilt and work your way around--to keep it all even. And you might have to up your basting a little--I don't baste at all anymore!!cheer

I never had room for the big frames and these are much easier to take with you if you quilt while traveling.

The answer to "1984" is 1776

WW 2 could have been avoided by the bravery of one good man with a good rifle

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get me.

I am planning a memory quilt from my deceased husbands favorite clothes. As I sort and donate or sell them, I will be saving his favorite flannel shirts, etc and making a quilt of them to keep me warm in a special way. Some might think it morbid, but I think of it as hugs from heaven.

I have been thinking alot of my mom lately. My dad sent me a couple of her blouses and they are getting abit too roomy since I have lost weight. The backs would be perfect for some pillow backs with some embroidery, maybe make it commemorative for her sake? I will be needing some big pillows once I set up the cot as a settee in the living room ... once I can rearrange things again after I do a painting project on a tall bookshelf and stuff like that.

I am getting a twin bed to replace the cot. I have all the material but need to put the quilt program on the new laptop after I get it from my son and do the crafting on the program for the patterns I made up for various log cabin patterns and arrange it so it will fit a fully covered and draped twin bed so its big enough to top a double bed later on. I am supposed to be getting a twin bed in good condition , thanks to my diabetic nurse any day now. A real blessing at this point. I have all the quilt makings and hope to start working on that quilt in a while. It will cover up all the odd sized blankets underneath it, aesthetics!

Right now I am working on knitting projects so the quilt will be later. Maybe I could make some quilt work on some of my drawstring pants I was going to make with some scraps of material since I am using a med dark blue cloth anyway and it could use some decor?

Yea! Little stuff but it would be quilted..... cool idea to dress up some pants? YEA!!!!!!!!! Great idea! :darlenedance:
