Mt_Rider
I've just happened upon an idea [well, it's new to me] for easy drinking while lying down, sick or whatever. Between a locked up shoulder and a humidifier that wasn't working, I kept having to take sips of water thru the night and couldn't manage to reach it. The water bottle with a sport top is a great improvement over the bent-straw-in-a-glass. But I came up with one better. Hydration water packs that the bikers/hikers use. The ones with a bladder inside and a long tube. The bite valve at the end keeps any spills from happening and is easy to use when someone wants a drink. Just lay the bladder (don't need the pack) in the bed next to sick/weak person. Small sips are often all they can manage and this way no one uses up too much energy trying to provide that frequently. dogmom4
Not a bad idea. I have a water bottle with an attached straw (ala Fylady) that works really well. I can lay in bed reading and not spill all over myself. Stacy Link to comment
