Percysgirl
Does anyone have a recipe for BBQ sauce or ketchup that can be canned? These two are ones I'm really wanting to try once my pressure canner arrives. Thanks! Link to comment

Percysgirl
Whoo hoo! Thanks so much! My mom just called, and she picked up at 25 pound box of tomatoes for $10 while she was out today, so tomorrow I'm making ketchup! Link to comment
MamaTiger
I use the recipe in Carla Emory's Ency of Country Living for ketsup. Link to comment

quiltys41
I use the HFC BBQ sauce recipe listed above except for the following change. Forget the celery...instead use 1 cup molasses. Use black strap if you like a darker, thick rich sauce or use light syrup molasses if you want a thinner and sweeter sauce. I use the black strap myself and add one of those little containers of dried chopped onion too. Yummy! Q Link to comment
Vlynn
Expect your house to smell like a ketchup factory for a couple of days after. Link to comment
Percysgirl
Oh, the kids will be thrilled. LOL They could go through 2 bottles of ketchup a month if I'd let them. Link to comment
