Guest Guest
I love lemons, and this dressing is sooooo good. Use it on green salads, over fish or steamed vegetables, or in a pasta salad. My favorite pasta salad is made with home made linguine noodles, thin deli ham thinly sliced, sliced cucumbers, black olives and feta cheese......with this dressing: 1/4 C olive oil 1/4 C whipping cream zest from one lemon - I use a potato peeler and peel thin strips, then mince...easier than a zester unless you have a really good one. juice from one lemon snipped fresh chives, minced 1 clove garlic, minced salt to taste Quote Link to comment

Guest Guest
Hmmmmmmmmm, now you are giving me ideas. We have a lemon dill sauce we use a lot here. I think the addition of dill to your recipe might just make what we use. We love dill and it has so many natural healing properties to it that we try to add it where we can. Thanks for posting this recipe. Hill Quote Link to comment
Dee
Mare can this recipe be modified by taking out the whipping cream and using something as substitute. The cream would be too heavy on my little stomach. What do you think I can use as a substitute? Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
Reci, I would think that milk would work just as well....just wouldn't be as creamy. Let me know if you try it. Quote Link to comment
