Thank you all for your prayers and kindness

I just want to thank everyone who prayed for me, posted messages for me, and sent cards. Your thoughtfulness means so much to me, and the printout from all of you brought forth tears of gratitude for all of your kindnesses.

 

Cavey rushed me back to the emergency room last Sunday night, and I was in pretty poor condition. Our little country hospital couldn't help me, as I was in heart failure, my kidneys had completely shut down, and my blood pressure was approaching coma. I think the Dr's were trying to prepare Cavey and I for the worst. They decided to transport me to a large hospital in the city, but didn't think I could survive the 45 min ambulance ride, so I was life-flighted to the city where 3 specialist angels were waiting, and who saved my life. I was in the shock trauma icu for 2 nights, then finally released to come home last night.

 

In the morning, Cavey is taking me to a mountain retreat for some solitude and rest, as home has too many temptations....like the computer. I'm still on oxygen, and very weak, and not walking well yet. When we return, I will tell you more about what happened to me, in hopes that knowing what I didn't, may save a life. But, I just wanted to check in and say THANKS! I love this family at Mrs. S.

Oh Mare it's nice to see your post and to hear you're doing better. You and Cavey have a peaceful and relaxing time at your mountain retreat. It sounds like you could both use it!

Please take care and have a good time in the mountains. Get your health back so you can come back here. Take short walks when you are able and enjoy the time you and Cavey have together.

 

Things can happen so fast and if a person does not know what signs are, things can go bad.

Holie Molie.....i didn't have any idea you were so sick Mare.........What a shock! All this started with that cough? How the heck did you end up in heart and kidney failure?????????

All i know is THANK GOD Mr. Cavey got you back in the hospital in time and you got the care you needed!!!!

 

Rest well.......then you can come back to us Whole!

It's so great to see you post...we've missed you!!! Praise the Lord you are doing better, I've been praying for you...and Cavey, too. The mountain retreat sounds just great, and probably just what you need. Relax and enjoy!

Gosh,Mare, I'm with Debbielee , I had no idea that you were knocking at death's door.....The get away sounds like a good idea, but make sure there is a hospital close enough to get to quickly if the need arises, we worry about you. (((hugs)))
