Annarchy
DH had to take his battery down to have it tested. He came in and said, "Go look at my truck door window." I flushed in panic and hurried outside. He commented, "it isn't bad." I must have a warped sense of humor, this was funny. You can even see the imprint of the poor doves feet! Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
P.S. Yeah, everything is dusty out here in the desert. Quote Link to comment
lumabean
I saw the picture before reading, and was thinking wow, that is a big butterfly, then I read dove, and it made a lot more sense than my butterfly Do they fly in to things a lot? Quote Link to comment
Dee
Glad he didn't break the window. Cool imprint. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
Lumabean, I really do not know if they do it a lot. We've had humming birds knock themselves out hitting our house windows. We have quite a flock of different birds that I feed every morning and afternoon. (SHTF and I have bird soup.) I am assuming from the size of the imprint, it was an inca dove. They like to eat fire ants and are frequently walking around and the local dear elderly women collect cats. We are glad it did not break the window too. DH commented on the imprint of it's feet, while I noticed where it's beak hit. Kinda wondered if it got a headache. Dusty thing, wasn't it? Quote Link to comment
