lovinit
I bought some Pesto (Costco brand) and really liked it, but now I am afraid to use any more. It seems to be fermenting and forcing the oil up and out of the jar. We thought the container it was in, was leaking - re canted it, and still have a mess. What is the norm for this stuff? Surely NOT that. Quote Link to comment
Violet
Uh, you better handle carefully. Wrap tightly, wear gloves as you do. It may have potential botulism since it has oil in it. If not that, it is at least fermented and needs to be tossed asap ! Quote Link to comment
lumabean
I wonder if the store would give a refund on it? Or at least let you know if others have had problems or if there's been a recall on a batch number. With food prices being what they are, I would hope they'd give a refund. I hope it's nothing that would make you sick from what you've already eaten :/ Edited November 8, 2012 by lumabean Quote Link to comment
