I think anything "mafia" is horrible. Esp. to attribute that negative term to the Amish -- I think it's ... well, not something good. The Amish and violence? The Amish and organized crime violence? It doesn't seem as though it goes together.

 

When I saw this mentioned in another post the other day, i googled, and wowza, is this show ... rough is the nicest way I can put it. They're thugs in my opinion.

I do know drugs and alcohol are a problem in my community among the Amish.

I also know they have a rehab unit just for the Amish locally.

 

Do I believe a group of thugs going around seeking retribution? NO I don't.

I found the link on Facebook where 99% of the my friends are Mennonite.

They don't believe it ether.

They did have a good laugh about it.

Does this go beyond the beard and hair cutting then that has caused problems recently. Amish and mennonites do believe differently!

We're sorta of the opinion that it may be a few renagades that are looking for a "reason to fight" and really have no relationship to any of the old order religious groups, but still plan to tune in.
